Scuderia Ferrari is undoubtedly the most historic and successful F1 team in the history of the sport. Given this stat, you would think that the Ferrari car is good and wins a lot of races. Right? Wrong! Ferrari had a terrible season last year, coming 5th in the Championship. They came back this year with a great start, after signing spanish Driver Carlos Sainz (My favorite driver). Carlos is the only new team driver that is currently beating his teammate in points. Sounds pretty good right? It will sound better when I say that his teammate is Charles LeClerc, a driver from Monte Carlo who is said to be one of the next best drivers in the world. Charles has been with the prancing horses since his childhood, driving for the Ferrari academy. His first drive in F1 was in the Alfa Romeo car, which is the sister team of Ferrari. He got his dream move after 1 season in the Alfa seat and now is a distinguished and well known Ferrari driver. Carlos on the other hand is driving the Ferrari for the first time in his career, and now currently is defeating his teammate in the points table. This is a big deal, given how unlucky the second Ferrari seat is. Carlos has proved everyone wrong, winning 3 podiums and his first ever driver of the day in the last race in Turkey. Carlos has now had 9 consecutive point scoring races. The below graphic was posted on F1 social media pages, asking the fans who they think will come up on top. If you ask me, I’d back the Spaniard, mainly because he’s my favorite driver, but the race will be tight!
